Job summary:

As Sales Manager, you will be both a motivator and a planner. You will supervise your sales team, ensuring that they follow effective strategies and achieve the company’s sales objectives.

Your responsibilities as Sales Manager for the Upton and Victoriaville branches:

Sales team development :

  • Supervise, motivate, and train a team of salespeople
  • Provide on-the-ground support to salespeople working with customers
  • Establish performance indicators, follow up, and suggest opportunities for skill improvement in order to maximize the sales team’s performance

Strategic development of the local market

  • Develop sales strategies to maintain the company’s competitiveness and innovation.
  • Monitor local agricultural market trends in order to propose adjustments to product and service offerings that meet customer needs.
  • Analyze monthly market share reports and determine adjustments to be made.
  • Provide regular reports to owners on branch sales performance.
  • Make future sales forecasts and develop sales plans to adapt to constant market changes
  • Contribute to increasing customer satisfaction rates
  • Represent the company at trade events

Administration

  • Improve existing procedures to optimize sales, demonstration, delivery, and interdepartmental communication processes
  • Approval of payment/financing terms and follow-up with the accounting department

As the ideal candidate :

You own :

  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience
  • Basic knowledge of agriculture and mechanical parts
  • Proficiency with computer tools (Office suite and in-house system)
  • Ability to understand statistics
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) to communicate with a partially English-speaking clientelee

  • Recognized for effective communication and strong persuasion skills
  • Able to motivate a team and demonstrate leadership
